Certified Pipe Welder & General Structural Welder

STRUCTURAL WELDERS – Rockland County, NY

$25–$30/hr depending on experience | Full-time

 

 

 

We’re Hiring Skilled, Certified Welders!

STRUCTURAL WELDERS is seeking full-time certified Pipe Welders and General Structural Welders to join our fast-growing team. We handle commercial, residential, and specialty steel projects across the tri-state area.

 

 

 

Requirements (Must-Haves):

• Valid welding certification (e.g. 6G, AWS D1.1 or equivalent)
  
   
• Minimum 3 years experience in pipe welding or structural steel work
  
   
• Able to read blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings
  
   
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
  
   
• Experience with fabrication, layout, cutting, and fitting
  
   
• Knowledge of pipe threading, grooving, and installation
  
   
• Valid Driver’s License
  
   
• Must be dependable, punctual, and hardworking
  
   
• Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, in tight spaces, or uncomfortable positions
  
   
• Willingness to work occasional overtime, Sundays, and job site travel
  
   

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Weld and install pipe systems (gas, steam, hydraulic, etc.)
  
   
• Weld and install structural steel: beams, columns, brackets, plates
  
   
• Use and maintain hand and power tools, torches, grinders, etc.
  
   
• Fit and fabricate parts according to specs
  
   
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
  
   
• Work as part of a tight-knit crew on projects large and small
  
   

 

 

 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $25–$30/hr depending on experience & certification
