Evening Janitorial Position Benefits/Perks

Start Date: Immediate | Part-Time | Starting $16.50/hr

We are currently hiring for an Evening Janitorial Cleaner to join our team in Stockton, CA . This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into more hours over time. Position is out our private school.

Shift Details:

• Evening hours (approx. 2.5 to 3 hours per day)

• Starting at 23 days per week, increasing to 5 days/week

• Start date: Immediate
  

Pay Rate:

• Starting at $16.50/hour
  
  

Requirements:

• Must live in Stockton, CA
  
  
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required

• Must be available evenings and able to work independently

Duties Include:

• General janitorial and commercial cleaning

• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, and supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
• Secure building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

Qualifications

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 years of experience in janitorial services
• Drivers license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
