Job Title: Brand/Marketing Specialist

Location : Onsite. Lincoln, NE 68522

Hours : Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Overview: The ideal candidate will be well-versed in graphic design and skilled in maintaining a strong social media and web presence. This role involves developing and coordinating branding and marketing opportunities to enhance MPE's market presence and engagement with current and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and coordinate branding and marketing initiatives, including events, website, social media, and advertising.
  • Manage social media platforms, create engaging content, and monitor performance metrics.
  • Partner with leadership and management staff on the overall execution and development of MPE/MCS marketing plan. This includes coordinating and participating in marketing and staff events to support plan initiatives.
  • Create and update marketing materials, including brochures, website content, and newsletters.
  • Produce high-quality photos and videos for marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and manage e-commerce strategies to drive online sales.
  • Develop advertising campaigns for events across various channels.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve online visibility and search rankings.
  • Manage direct mail campaigns featuring special pricing and promotions.
  • Oversee MPE staff branded gear and promotional item inventory.
  • Track and report on campaign performance, optimizing for improved results.
  • Coordinate industry association relationships and manage related marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the development of sales and project management presentations.
  • Generate creative ideas and innovative content for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain a project/work photo database for marketing use.
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns with clear calls to action.
  • Manage fleet branding efforts and ensure brand consistency.

Marketing and Event Planning Coordination

  • Work closely with leadership and management staff in the creation and implementation of the MPE/MCS marketing plan. Responsibilities include coordinating and attending marketing/staff events, which may involve some travel.
  • Develop and coordinate branding and marketing opportunities, including special events, website updates, social media content, direct mail campaigns, email marketing, advertising, and promotional products.
  • Assist the sales and project management teams with presentations, estimates, and proposal development.
  • Generate creative ideas and innovative content, leveraging technology both independently and collaboratively.

E-commerce Management

  • Develop and manage e-commerce strategies to drive online sales and revenue.
  • Oversee product listings, inventory management, and online promotions.
  • Analyze e-commerce performance metrics and implement improvements.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Implement SEO strategies to improve the company's online visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and optimize website content for search engines.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and search performance.

Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Plan and create engaging content for social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram), ensuring 2-3 posts per week with a mix of project updates, educational content, and fun, relatable posts.
  • Manage social media platforms, monitor performance, and report on key metrics such as impressions, clicks, web visitors, video views, and leads.
  • Execute monthly email campaigns (12 per year) with specific themes, special pricing, and clear calls to action.

Content Creation and Management

  • Create and update company brochures and marketing information pieces for the sales team.
  • Manage and update the company website with current projects, staff updates, and relevant industry news.
  • Maintain a project/work photo database for marketing use.
  • Develop and distribute quarterly newsletters (5 per year) with updates from leadership, project highlights, customer action items, and engaging personal content.

Event Advertising

  • Develop advertising campaigns for special events to maximize attendance and engagement.
  • Coordinate advertising efforts across multiple channels, including online, print, and social media.
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of event advertising campaigns.

Photography and Videography

  • Produce high-quality photos and videos for marketing materials, website, and social media.
  • Manage and maintain photo and video equipment.
  • Edit and enhance visual content to align with brand standards.

Direct Mail and Advertising

  • Create and execute (4) direct mail campaigns per year, featuring special pricing, services, special events, and discounts.
  • Coordinate association ads and event participation with various industry organizations.

Promotional Items and Inventory

  • Manage MPE staff branded gear inventory and ordering processes.
  • Design and order promotional materials, keeping inventory and developing new and unique ideas.
  • Maintain a database of vendor marketing pieces (e.g., Gilbarco, OPW, Fill-Rite).

Performance Tracking and Optimization

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance with granular tracking across relevant KPIs.
  • Create impactful programs to improve conversion rates from leads to opportunities.

Graphic Design and Coordination

  • Coordinate industry association relationships (NPCA, Fuel Iowa, etc.).
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of stationary, envelopes, letterhead, business cards, and email signatures.
  • Manage fleet branding efforts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in graphic design, marketing, and branding.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination.
  • Ability to generate creative ideas and innovative content.
  • Proficiency in tracking and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
